WebI can say first hand the IBIS wobble on my R5 with RF24-70 f2.8 has ruined shots on past firmwares. I never used the digital IS mode. Only lens IS + IBIS. You can not fix in post, while center is perfect, edges are jello. I have v1.6 installed, but haven't shot much with it yet to notice if it made a difference. I too rarely do walking shots. I can hear the sound of the motor all the time. Even when I take the camera in my hand, turn it on and do not yet focus or anything, the sound of the motor is there and IBIS is active.
