Meet Channing ...
Esthetician & Brow Artist
Hi! My name is Channing Jackson. I am one of those rare born-and-raised Austinites. I am an artist, and licensed Esthetician in the state of Texas since 2006. My career started with the deep desire to help women heal upset skin and to share my love of makeup. After a few years of focusing on skincare and makeup, I found waxing to be a fun change of pace and quickly became well known for my expert speed and excellent bedside manner. In 2014 I set out on my own in order to provide my clients with the top notch services they deserved.
The night that I first discovered the miracle of microblading, I couldn’t sleep! I stayed up all night researching the service. In January of 2016 I added microblading to my menu of services, and within a few months, I became the go-to girl in Central Texas for the most natural looking brow enhancements.
My esthetic is soft and natural looking. I don’t believe in using stamps and stencils when designing brows. I feel strongly that each client should receive a completely custom enhancement created around their specific desires and their natural features. I take sanitation and my clients safety very seriously. I exclusively use certified sterilized, single use, fully disposable hand tools for microblading, I patch test every client before their procedure, and I follows all universal precautions to protect myself and my clients.
After the sudden loss of my boyfriend, I decided that I needed to move my studio closer to home. So March of 2019 I relocated Chan Artistry to the North Shore of Lake Travis where I have a little store front with huge oak trees and a view of the lake. With this move came the realization that I needed to allow myself more time to paint. Something I had been working towards for some years. So I now take clients part-time and am selling my original acrylic paintings in my work space and fine art prints in my Etsy shop.
When I’m not boosting client’s beauty and confidence, you can find me working on my fixer upper home in the country, sketching and painting, or enjoying cold brewed coffee and bird watching on the patio with my trusty pups, Duke and Cricket.
